Terms of service

The agreement between you and Afferent for storing, cataloguing and delivering data. Short on purpose.
The service
Storage billed per terabyte-month, free data transfer out, and an optional delivery tool billed per terabyte delivered.
Your data
You own everything you upload. You grant us only the rights needed to store, index and deliver it as you instruct. We never sell, license or take a commission on it.
Your responsibilities
You confirm you have the rights and consents to collect and share the data you upload, including participant consent where people appear in frame.
Buyers and deals
Any agreement between you and a buyer is yours alone. Afferent is not a party to it and does not mediate payment or licence terms.
Billing
Metered hourly, invoiced monthly in USD. No minimums or retention periods. Unpaid invoices may lead to suspension after notice.
Termination
Cancel at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law, with notice where lawful.
